Equity Group Foundation

Equity Group Foundation is the non-profit social arm of the Equity Group Holdings, with the aim of championing the social-economic transformation of the people of Africa via economic opportunities, capacity, tools and technology. The Foundation comprises 5 pillars i.e. Education & Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship & Financial Education, Health, Agriculture & Agri-Business and Energy & Environment, which are all aligned to the Strategic Development Goals.

The Education pillar, through the ‘Wings to Fly’ and ‘Equity Leaders Program’ departments, runs several activities by which the leadership and career development of students is enhanced. The Equity Leaders Program offers the top students in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national exam the opportunity to gain work experience at the Equity Bank through an Internship Program, as well as a College Counselling Program where the scholars are prepared to apply to top universities around the world.
